
Tablas Creek Vineyard is at its core the story of a friendship between two families that began in the 1960s. The Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel and the Haas family of Vineyard Brands joined together to bring the vision of Tablas Creek Vineyard to life.
The two families first worked together as importer and producer, and it was their shared conviction that California was a perfect location for the varieties traditional the the southern Rhone that began their search for the location that would eventually become Tablas Creek. [...more history]

In May, we're featuring our 2011 Cotes de Tablas Blanc at a 10% discount. In 2011, our Viognier crop was cut by 80% due to spring frost, leaving a tiny, intense yield of less than one-half a ton per acre. The resulting wine is rich and tropical, with stone fruits and honey, but at the same time firmly dry, with a very long, saline & mineral finish. Details »
